Mandalorian Mural for Disney+

A dream client!! I can’t even begin to express how happy I was to collaborate with Disney+ on a mural to celebrate the season 3 premiere of The Mandalorian. It’s a show I personally watch, so when I was asked to create a mural design highlighting the helmet (with my own personal twist) I went for it! I started off with a bold helmet shape on top of a warm sunset background. Then on top of that, I drew intricate details surrounded by linework to create a maze-like design where the viewer has to search for specific imagery. Examples of what you can find are Grogu (Baby Yoda), Din Djarin’s weapon, and then things related to my life like palm trees, cacti, and flowers. After painting this on a 36” x 48” canvas, I edited footage for a TikTok that you can watch here. This was such an amazing opportunity, and I can’t wait to work with Disney and the team at Open Influence again!
