Custom Shoes (Taylor’s Version)
Like many other Swifties, shortly after I secured tickets to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in LA my sister and I began planning our outfits. We decided that we needed cute and comfy shoes to wear during the 3-hour concert, and I thought this was the perfect opportunity to paint us a pair! Although I’ve painted several pairs of shoes for other people over the past year, this was the first time I got to do it for myself and I’m so, so happy with the outcome. To keep our shoes similar yet different, I used the same color palette and included several of the same details amongst the iconography of our favorite songs, eras, and specific lyrics. In order to paint these shoes, I purchased canvas slip-on shoes from Target and used Angelus Leather paint and supplies. These were a crowd favorite and so much fun to wear at the concert! Scroll to the bottom to see a list of the specific references I included in each pair.
