Vans Shoe Auction 2022

For my third Artreach auction, artists were presented with the challenge of painting on Vans shoes! Given the option of painting between 1-10 pairs, I chose 5 and had three weeks to transform them into pieces of art. Because the shoes were donated, some started off with dark colors and even patterns! All of these final shoe designs started off as tiny pencil scribbles, and most were even pulled from old sketchbook entries. I’m happy to say that 4/5 of these shoes sold during the auction and we helped raise over $600 for free arts education!
